Myspace Page

Hi, ever since I started my account on Myspace I've never found a layout/background image that I've really liked and I've FINALLY got around to drawing one myself :) The only problem is that it's on a huge piece of cardboard and I've only got an a4 scanner and a bad camera, so....I've ended up scanning it in bits and sewing them all together on Photoshop.

The original image is a mixture of collage, spray paint, acrylic and marker pen, I might add more colour on digitally later.

Three Pumpkins

This is a small commission piece, a woman mentioned her daughter was having triplets and that that temporarily called them the pumpkins, so she asked me to draw a simple and quirky picture for her also she said she likes my round people characters so...this is what she gets. :)

Character Transformation Animation

Right, this little short animation took me all day to draw non-stop and it's meant to look sketchy on purpose :)

I've always wanted to try and make a hand drawn animation but never had the patient until now glorious day it's all i seemed to have ha ha. This sequence is a run through of just a few of my characters and drawings that I've done i the past, it does have music in the background (created by me and my guitar) but it's very quiet so crank up the volume!

Hope y'all enjoy this little viewing and i hope to draw more in the future but longer then this one, now i know how it's all done.

Little Book of Big Heads

As a personal project I'm creating a Little Book of Big Heads, which are my own character designs dressed as various things and doing different stuff. The are very simple characters but fit well in to most situations and are simple to draw, coloured with watercolour paint, outline with fine liner some areas washed down to get the ink running to make the shadows. I'm currently uploading to lulu.com to be made in to a proper bound and printed book, as the book it is now is all hand painted and stitched together by me. :)

Special Tree

This is the basic line drawing to go with one of the chosen stories written for equality and diversity week, the story I've chosen is questioning why we make such a bit deal about leaving homes behind, then realising that there will never be another one like it. The story mentions trees that the author played near when they were a child and how every tree looks the same but that one tree will always be special.

London Bicycle Characters.

The London Bicycling competition, these are the line drawings for the characters i want to colour and place on the collage background of textures. I've made the faces rounder then i do usually and more cartoon like then stylized, i think that works well with the fun element that they want with the image.

Spider Development.

Here are the stages of the Spider drawings, starting with pencil and working on it with water colour pencils, Finally adding the darker details with fine liner and marker pen. The image was made for the group Zine with the theme of other worlds, so i thought about what could actually be or happen in other worlds? and this is what i got :) enjoy!

I've been making my website, adding more pictures and linking everything together and it's reeealy frustrationg cause things keep going wrong! but hopefully it'll all look good when it's on the web.

I've been doing sketches for the editorial project, which i just wanna get out the way cause it's anoying me. I've FINALY finished the painting thats ended up taking me 4/5 days, but it looks good and when i finaly get to scan it in i will be entering it for the Northern Design compertition.

Finaly, i've made yet another book from scratch, designed the cover and everything. I've called it Little Book of Big Heads, all gonna be full of my little characters pretending to be celebrities and doing random stuff.
